Two types

The two types of typography are;These are - Serif and Sans serif.

Serif is Sans serif with a flick type ends onto the bottom of the lettering which is used to make the font look more fancy and professional. 
Below are examples of these fonts.
As you can see the Serif font has the fancy ending to the letters. Where as the Sans Serif is just a plain block lettering.
